You can read some of our client stories and information about music therapy to find out more about how music therapy can support mental health.

Who we support

Soundwell supports adults in the community to promote mental health, well-being, change and recovery. We work with people experiencing a range of mental health issues, including those with severe and complex mental health needs. This might include those with substance misuse problems and those who have experienced homelessness. Alongside this, we also work with unpaid carers, providing emotional support.

Music therapy can be of great benefit for the following:

  • Communication
  • Increasing confidence
  • Reducing isolation
  • Improving motivation
  • Enhancing a stronger sense of hope
  • Reducing depression
  • Overcoming anxiety
