Soundwell Music Therapy Trust is a small dynamic charity providing music therapy for adults whose lives are seriously affected by mental health issues. We support people in their mental health recovery and provide emotional support to carers, using music to explore creativity, communication and expression.  Our work can rebuild hope and transform lives.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and caring individual to join our team and work in a pivotal role supporting our Finance and Funding Manager.

You will support the financial and administrative resources of the Charity. You will also provide all necessary support in relation to administration and HR services and contribute to effective fundraising supporter communications and social media/marketing.

Initially based from home, you will be joining Soundwell at an exciting time as we finalise plans to create an office base in the South Bristol area, where the successful postholder will eventually be based. Some local travel to meetings and events in the Bristol/Bath area may be required.

If you would like an informal conversation before applying, please call Emma Prout on 0300 365 3400 or email

To apply: please download a Job Description and Application Form.

Completed application forms should be returned to by 9.00am on Monday 11th March.  CVs will not be accepted.

Interviews will take place in Bristol on Thursday 14th March.  Please make sure you are free to attend on that date if called. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 12 noon on Tuesday 12th March at latest. Unfortunately owing to the large number of applications we receive, we are not able to reply to unsuccessful candidates.
